The U.S. Treasury Department’s Capital Projects Fund made $167,500 available to each Alaska tribe on a formula basis to be used for capital projects related to health, education, workforce development, or internet connectivity.
The AFN Navigator Program helped 56 tribes secure their allocation through a consortium application. This effort will infuse more than $9 million in tribal communities and Native entities.
