The Native American/Native Hawaiian Museum Services Program has EXTENDED the application deadline to December 13, 2024, for institutions located in Federally declared emergency and/or major disaster areas that have been unable to meet the original November 15, 2024, deadline due to the impact of these emergencies or disasters.
The Native American/Native Hawaiian Museum Services (NANH) grant program is designed to support Indian Tribes (including Alaska Native Villages and Corporations) and organizations that primarily serve and represent Native Hawaiians in sustaining indigenous heritage, culture, and knowledge. The program supports projects such as educational services and programming, workforce professional development, organizational capacity building, community engagement, and collections stewardship. The program is accepting applications from tribal governments, tribal organizations, and Alaska Native corporations.
