About

Nicole serves as the Program Manager. She manages every aspect of AFN’s Navigator Program, giving detailed attention to program strategy, project delegation, and program implementation.

Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a law degree from the University of Washington School of Law; but her most treasured diploma is from Mt. Edgecumbe High School. She is enrolled to the McGrath Native Village Council and is a shareholder of Doyon, Ltd., and MTNT, Ltd. Like her grandmother and mother before her, Nicole chairs her village corporation Board of Directors. She also served a successful tenure on Alaska’s Redistricting Board (where she stopped efforts to unconstitutionally partisan gerrymander), and serves on several federal committees and workgroups, in addition to facilitating the Alaska Tribal Child Welfare Compact.

Nicole also serves as AFN’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel. She currently resides in Anchorage with her husband and their four children.
